In Theory Films is a video production company based in coastal Maine.
As a director, Jason Mann's credits include several short films with Cecily Pingree and Pull-Start Pictures. They made the feature documentary Betting the Farm, which premiered at Silverdocs in 2012 and went on to an award-winning festival run around the United States. (Stream it on Vimeo.)
He was the cinematographer and co-producer of Lost Souls (Animas Perdidas), a feature documentary by Monika Navarro that aired nationally on Independent Lens.
As a member of Beechwood Film, he produces short documentaries and advocacy videos for companies and organizations of all sizes.
Jason works as a freelance editor and is a frequent editor for Compass Light Productions.
He is currently at work on a feature documentary about Robert Indiana.
Jason lives with his wife and kids on North Haven, an island 12 miles off the coast of Maine.
